What about Spring Break?

I was talking with a parent this morning about the High School Renovation.  This mom was disappointed that the groundbreaking (one word) ceremony had to be postponed.  Her next statement was, "If the groundbreaking was postponed, then give us back Spring Break." Since I have no more kids in school, I checked the 2011-2012 School Calendar. According to the calendar, the School Board approved the calendar on December 20, 2010. I am sure that the School Board has no plans to revisit the 2011-2012 School Calendar, but the mom raises a good point.
