Anybody have any idea what happened to the poll? Last time I checked, there were seven votes supporting the seven SB members' votes and thirty-one votes going to single-prime. Now it is showing sixteen for single-prime and three supporting the SB's decision.
Update July 28, 2011 12:20 am The poll is now closed. The final count is:
What is your opinion about single-prime contracts vs. multiple-prime contracts?
| |
Using a single-prime contractor is the only way to go.
I support the School Board's decision to go with multiple-prime contracts.
Total votes: 43
Poll closed
I'm thinking those 4,000 PRO HIGH SCHOOL PEOPLE (as opposed to the 4,000 petition signers)all rushed to vote en masse and overwhelned the system.
ReplyDeleteThereby making it easy for the district to suggest the poll isn't scientific or representative of the whole community!
By the way, haven't heard or read anything on any of the blogs or from candidate sites regarding the issues on the school district or municipality.
Did they all go on vacation?
Were they "hijacked" by aliens?
Did the VOICE loose its voice?

OK, the poll has been restored. Blogger never ceases to "amaze" me.
ReplyDeleteThe poll will be closing soon anyway.
It's OK Elaine, its going to end in a tie.
ReplyDeleteI just spied 7 members of the school board polling constituents face-to-face at the local coffee shop.
All 41 constituents said they were in favor of multiple prime contractors though unfortunately they couldn't seem to figure out how to vote in your poll!
Word is they will attempt to create their own poll and put it online at some future date!

Seven board members + Tim Steinhauer + John Taramino = nine. This is a very accurate poll.
