A special audit of the Montour business office has found a range of potentially criminal problems that cost the school district at least $750,000 over a seven-year period.
Pittsburgh accounting firm Schneider Downs Co. Inc. investigated the finance department under its former director, Samuel Reichl III, and identified "numerous shortcomings that one would not expect to find in a business office that was being run in an efficient and professional manner."
