After the Joint Discussion meeting tonight, Josephine Posti wanted to talk with me. She said,
"Elaine, you have hate in your heart and I pray for you..."
I interrupted her to say that I didn't have to listen to that.
I am sorry, Josephine. I should have said, "Thank you."
Elaine remember Shakespeare wrote:
ReplyDelete"'Tis better to be vile than vile esteemed,..."

And as long as Josephine is in a religious frame of mind:
ReplyDeleteMatthew 7:1 - "Judge not, that ye be not judged."

James 1:26 -
ReplyDelete"If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless."
Oh, I made her mad now.

Glad she is praying for me.

"Elaine, you have hate in your heart and I pray for you..."
ReplyDeleteIf Mrs. Posti is able to see hate inside another person's heart I hope she will give me a call. I have some friends out in Hollywood who could get her on Letterman.
Political differences - and that's what this boils down to - can sometimes get ugly, but as Harry Truman quipped, "If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen."
It was good of her to offer to pray for Ms. Gillen - as long as she doesn't do it in the high school.
Anonymous 4:36 PM,
ReplyDeleteWould you say that "bridling his tongue" in modern day includes refraining from writing a malicious e-mail under a fictitious name and asking two comrades to review and approve it, then sending it to a wide distribution list with the purposeful intention of attacking the character of people and their families simply because those people disagree with them? If that is not a result of hate in one's heart then please tell me what is.

10 to 1 odds Ms. Stephenson, there is not one iota of introspection going on that self-rightous, unbridled tongue.

Check page 6 of the muni RTK that I posted on the transparency thread. If you continue to read the request, it shows Josephine in a different light.

Giffen - I am afraid you are right.
ReplyDeleteElaine - That is downright scary!
