Mt. Lebanon High School Class of 1972 Reunion

Mt. Lebanon 40th High School Reunion is only 171 days away - Oct. 5-7th. We have found 403 classmates, up significantly (doubled) from the last time I wrote about this on the blog.

I am hoping this reminder will help in the search for the ones still missing. It would be wonderful for everyone from the Class of 1972 to have a chance to connect again.

  1. Elaine,

You'll have to develop a *special* survey questionnaire for all attendees, in the same manner and spirit of the current District boondoggle questionnaire, only with a slightly different bias. You know what I mean (wink, wink, nod, nod ). Get their candid opinion of the current high school project and its factual background.

My brother can undoubtedly assist you in developing the appropriate multiple choice answers to the on-point questions. I'm sure the District would really appreciate the added input from the alums who experienced a similar undertaking 40 years ago.

  2. Well, I don't know about developing appropriate questions/answers, but you'd think Pursuant (or is it Pusuant) Ketchum would be able to connect you with the missing alumni. LOL

Seriously, just who would they be contacting to see if fund raising is feasible, if not MLSD alumni?

  3. Check out Planning a Reuinion
There is that relentless pursuit of perfect spelling in action. And it is blank.

  4. Amazing, Elaine. A blank page for "Reuinion". What is wrong with these people ? Maybe they should reinstitute a full 5th. work day/week for the summer for remedial spelling instruction instead of the four day week for that rediculous explanation of "saving energy". Maybe they meant their personal energy and not utility supplied energy ? Both are are lame and idiotic excuses !

Hey Giffen, don't confuse the survey questionnaire for fundraising purposes when it is really for their so-called strategic plan. All three are in fact very confusing.

  5. "Alumni Directory" is blank.
    "Membership" is blank.
    "Contact Us" is blank.

It looks like "Pusuant" Ketchum will have their work cut out for them. You can't "Ketchum" if the information isn't there.

  6. V, I wasn't getting surveys confused.
The PK Fund Raising Feasibility Study (or is it a plan) is to see who they get money from.

The Strategic Plan Survey which isn't closed until May, and should have the biggest impact on the preliminary budget they'll be voting on tonight.

So essentially the district is as I see it:

    1. ASKING us if we'll give them money
    and
    2. TELLING us they want to know our operations on district operations, but regardless our opinion doesn't mean crap.

Does that about sum it up.

  7. That's our [opinion] on district operations - not operations on district operations. Sorry, between a tiny touch screen and auto spell correction, it's tough not to make mistakes.
Wonder, do you think that's the staff's problem? If so why aren't they working at their desk?
