Marcos Bernell is the PA-One Call Regional Rep for our area. He has direct lines to the utilities. His direct number is 412.464.7113. The Mt. Lebanon deer killing sites have not been cleared yet by all of the utility companies. More calls today and especially tomorrow are necessary. People who call him for help must mention that Saturday’s P-G reported that the shooting will begin tomorrow night. Technically, all work is to stop until all of the utility companies get there. Mt. Lebanon told Merlin Benner that it wasn't necessary to call PA One Call. Mt. Lebanon also said that if anything happens, it will be on Merlin Benner. Wrong. It will be on all of us. HELP.
Another lie by the Municipality ! Yet, the print and cable media not picking up on it....the P-G the worst
ReplyDeleteif they start shooting, they are so f$#@ed! let them! we will see what happens, they will go down. they are breaking laws and the community will NEVER forgive the commissioners and Feller.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Municipal Mgr. Feller. it is a nice sunny, fairly warm March day, how are those extra game slots working out for the soccer and lacrosse players down at the crown jewel?
ReplyDeleteMore on PA One Call later. Meantime, if there are extra hands out there, please develop a master list of all utilities present in Mt. Lebanon and their corresponding contact information. Kindly leave list on this blog. Thank you. (We have Columbia Gas and Peoples Gas contact information. CALL, CALL, CALL.
ReplyDeleteI've been throwing $$ away every couple of months to receive the PG.. but after this bias coverage of the deer issue in Lebo.. I will NOT be renewing and think many in Lebo should follow..
ReplyDeletePLEASE--- Continue to call each and every utility company that provides services in Mt.Lebanon. Gas, electric, sewage, cable, water---- all have underground systems that our homes and businesses rely upon. If Benner hits a gas pipe at Connor with one of his bullets, a large portion of Mt. Lebanon will be without heat for days, maybe weeks. Let's hope for the sake of safety that PA One-Call works its magic before Benner takes aim.
ReplyDeleteThe utility companies MUST and will show up. We just need to let them know that Benner may disregard the PA statutory waiting period allotted to the utility companies. Flood the lines to all utilities before Benner's bullets cause a water main break and Mt. Lebanon residents are not able to shower.
GOOD NEWS: Columbia Gas will respond to the PA One Call within 72 hours.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they will let Benner know until they are here.
They will visit each site.
Mr. Benner has a legal issue that prevents him from shooting. How do we get that news to Mr. Benner? The municipality doesn't care.
I just did a radio interview with KDKA's Maria Gabriel. She said that Lt. Lauth said that Merlin is not required to say when they start shooting. They call the police before they are ready to start with the location and then call when they are done. As far as Mt. Lebanon goes, they have the permit to begin any time. I told Maria that they can't start until the utility companies come in and mark their lines. Told her about the protest tomorrow night too.
ReplyDeleteColumbia Gas is coming out within the next 72 hours and Benner cannot shoot!!
Elaine
Columbia Gas has given Benner their okay, except for the Connor road site which they will come out and take a look at today or tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWe don't know squat about Peoples Gas, Duquesne Light, Water and Sewage. Have they given permission?
Hope you are right but would not trust Benner to wait for anything.
ReplyDeleteHave all media contacts been reminded of the upcoming meeting? If WDVE has someone drop in officially or unofficially it could make for some interesting morning shows!
