What a great option for Mt. Lebanon gardeners!

I just found out about a Mt. Lebanon business which builds custom raised garden beds, called Yard To Table Garden Builders. Owner Rich Salvante explained the advantages of raised gardens beds, which follow the square foot gardening method of gardening, utilizing the space efficiently while providing universal access to senior citizens and eliminating the use of chemical animal deterrents.

All of Rich's designs are custom to the site. It can be on rooftops or hillsides, without relying on the quality of the existing soil.

Charlie's garden is located behind Dollar General. Rich donated it to his neighbor, Charlie. Rich's business is primarily through word of mouth.

An added benefit for me is that I will be able to continue having a vegetable garden without worrying about getting muddy, that is organized in a very limited amount of space, and I can plant anything I want knowing that deer wouldn't have access.
