New signs at the "Crown Jewel"

I recently learned that Mt. Lebanon has a sign shop above Public Works on Cedar Blvd. Apparently, the municipality got the message that taxpayers were unhappy with the total disregard by spectators and players alike. This new sign now appears at our "Crown Jewel."

I especially like this sign, which also appears at our million dollar field.

Yes, a laser printed piece of copy paper inserted into an Office Depot vinyl sheet protector has been posted to ban those pesky sunflower seeds, visible around home plate and in the dugout. He Who Shall Not Be Named promised to take full responsibility, and by golly, he did.

  1. May be shorter to list what is permitted?

  2. Are we allowed to walk on the field?

  3. Reading the article from the PIO, it appears that we are allowed to walk on it, with clean shoes, no metal cleats, no high heels, and only when there is no sports group using it. Permit holders have first dibs. Not taxpayers. http://lebomag.com/24173/have-a-field-day-carefully/

The sports people got their way. We knew that it was not going to be available for public use, even though taxpayers paid for most of it.

The garden biddies will get their way and deer will die. Elaine Labalme was quite adamant when she said, " I don't want to coexist with deer." There will be things that kids shouldn't witness, let alone things I don't want to see. It will all start in mid September. Like the toxic turf, nothing will get in the commissioners' way. It is going to happen, NO MATTER WHAT.

It is ironic that the politicos think my blog should be public. None of them asked to be invited. Funny how they don't have to do anything that benefits the public, just what special interest groups want and demand. I hate this place.
