Correcting misinformation UPDATED

In this week's administrative report to the commissioners, Keith McGill announced the coffee that the public information office held for real estate agents.

I wish I knew what "misinformation about Mt. Lebanon" those mean, old real estate agents are spreading about us. Really, Susan?

Also in the 2016 Manager's Recommended Budget, see pages 30-31 for what Public Information is costing us. Funny how people still have to rely on Lebo Citizens for information. Or is it "misinformation" as some people like to call it?

Update November 1, 2015 3:32 AM From the 2016 Manager's Recommended Budget: More corrections of misinformation.
Citizen Engagement. The impact of technology and the explosion of social media offer new opportunities for better community engagement and dialogue. There is an opportunity to increase transparency and accountability in how local government services are delivered.

  1. This is absolutely insane:

    Public Information
    Regular Salaries & Wages $ 157,140
    Part‑time & Temporary Wages 263,540

  2. "Misinformation" may be part A but is discrimination part B? "The goal was to help them match the right clients to our unique community". Who are the "right" clients?

  3. Everything about that event was wrong, 12:17 AM. Could the "right" clients be Market District shoppers where Susan is forced to put on lipstick? Read Were you offended?
Does "unique community" mean that we are special? Susan thinks she is so special. Now that Feller is gone, she thinks she is even more important.

Nick M., there are only two people in the PIO with regular salaries - Susan Morgans and a secretary. Didn't you tell me that the mayor of Pittsburgh makes less than Susan? His base salary is $108,000. Yes, totally insane. She needs to go.

  4. I can't wrap my brain around this one. Not yet. I will try later. I agree that there is something very wrong about it. No surprise there.

  5. Real estate agents and sellers cannot turn down a legitimate offer, Susan. I wonder if part of the tea discussion covered the Newcomers Tax.

I keep telling myself that I hope to outlast Susan and the rest of the bozos. That is the only thing that keeps me going.

I've read this sentence several times and I have absolutely no idea what it means.

  7. I've just finished reading Anne Frank's Diary of a Young Girl in which the end-notes denoted stated the steps taken by the Nazi Party to silence dissent and to control the information disseminated to the public. Hmmm...
