Mass. woman cited for harassing deer hunter in Mt. Lebanon
I am so mad that I am shaking! This is breaking news? John Hayes is a pig. This happened almost two months ago and not as he has described. Greg Perri slept on the floor in front of his daughter's bedroom doors? Seriously? The hunter felt threatened? So that is why he contacted the PG? OMG. These are the archery photos the police wanted Amy to delete.

Do you see any photos of the hunter? I don't. Everyone on the road can see license plates. Not a big deal. Remember when Mt. Lebanon was trying to collected the $800,000 in parking tickets? Here is the list of license plates without the names. License plates are public information. The Neverending List
November 19, 2015 9:06 AM I am suspecting that a certain Mt. Lebanon department has issued a press release. Another media outlet heard from: Mass. woman cited in disputed cull in Mt. Lebanon
November 19, 2015 9:25 AM Is this part of the media blitz? MLPD Deer Incident Report "There are a total of 1039 deer incidents in this report." How many of them are archery related?
November 19, 2015 10:02 PM The identity of the hunter has been revealed in the comments under the PG article. Aaron Gander of Upper St. Clair is the hunter who felt threatened being shot by a 52 year old woman armed with a camera. Here is a screen shot in case they get deleted by the PG:
A feeble attempt to create contempt for individuals who challenge Mt Lebanon's deer slaughter
ReplyDeleteIs there a sidewalk on the road where the photographer took the picture? How far in feet was she standing from the road or sidewalk during this incident? Doesn't Mt Lebanon own the first 15-20 feet of private properties in municipality as an easement or the right of way? Isn't pedestrian use an ancillary use of the public "road"? Pedestrians can take pictures.
ReplyDeleteConsider the following, Elaine. The press release may have been issued by PETA.
ReplyDeleteThat is a possibility. I have broken all ties with members of PETA. It's a tough crowd. It would make sense for them to have issued a PR to tie in with their demonstration tonight.
ReplyDeleteElaine
FYI, they are strategically deleting posts under the Post-Gazette article that are critical of this whole mess.
ReplyDeleteNo press release. The incident was reported as an "arrest" on the MLPD police blotter earlier this week. Even Hayes reads that. PETA had nothing to do with it.
ReplyDeleteJason, they have no problem keeping comments from "Pass Time," do they? What he and Hayley bring to the party is beyond me. It is pretty scary that Dave is so obsessed with me.
ReplyDeleteDid the PG delete one of your comments, Jason?
Elaine
No, they deleted a couple from Shana Washington.
ReplyDeleteNo, the ones from Shana are still there.
ReplyDeleteThere were others. They were deleted. I actually have them printed out before they were deleted.
ReplyDeleteI looked up this Aaron Gander, because I was curious about this person who is hunting and killing deer in our community. He has a Facebook page, which I looked at. I was disgusted to see a photo of his young son standing proudly by the deer that he (the young boy) shot and killed. I guess Aaron Gander is passing on his values to his child.
ReplyDeleteI looked at his Facebook page too and it looks like he may be hunting over a baiting station. Can anyone confirm that? Are there any tags? I couldn't look at his photos for any length of time. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteElaine
I still think there was a press release. What are the chances that the Trib and the PG print these articles on the same day on the exact same topic? Also, the Almanac printed the letter illustrating what a horror this deer killing is on the same day. Any chance an Almanac writer (Harry Funk) saw it coming and let the PIO know?
ReplyDeleteJason, please share the ones by Shana you think were deleted. I would like to see.
ReplyDeleteThe sad and disgusting thing is there will be no end to the horrors of yearly archery and sharpshooting slaughters.
ReplyDeleteThe pro kill garden biddies and illustrious commissioners most likely think the media hype will die down after this year or next so people won't pay any attention.
Please, let's try to keep the focus on Aaron Gander the Archer, at least for right now. We know who he is. We know that he is Greg Perri's personal archer. We know that Gander is archer #10 for the WB/MtL archery program. AND, we know that Mr. Gander does not want his ID associated with the Shady Lane incident.
ReplyDeleteSo, what now?
Sincerely, I don't know how it is helpful to know who A Gander is but he seems quite unwell. He appears to have videotaped kids dragging a dead deer in the dark and put it on the internet. Boy, now that is something to be proud of commissioners.

3:22 PM, just a reminder. The commissioners do not have access to this blog.
