Update March 9, 2016 9:45 PM Mt. Lebanon sharpshooting program ended
Thank God. Wonder if there will be even less information and less transparency this fall when they start again with the slaughter.
ReplyDeleteI just got off the phone with Keith McGill. Tony gave it up because the weather is too nice. They had a mild winter and no one expected 70 degree days so soon. Keith said that Tony killed either 115 or 119 deer - I can't remember which number he said. Too many for me, but I am on Cloud 9 that it is over.
ReplyDeleteI took down my Not In My Yard sign and will put it away until next September. ugh.
Elaine
Almanac says 219 deer killed since Sept. #disturbing
ReplyDeleteYep. 104 from archery and 115 from shooting. Ugh.

Tony did NOT call in a day because of the warm weather.
ReplyDeleteCoincidentally (?), the deer cull is over the same day this powerful story is in the paper:

Yesterday, we learned that the baiting had concluded. Today, the "sharpshooting" concluded. Very interesting...

ReplyDeleteI wonder if any of the cruelty done up in Akron (Summit County) was also done in Lebo..
I cannot watch this YouTube video. Sorry. I know they probably did very bad things. There AND here. Thank God that Tony has left the building.
ReplyDeleteHe has left the building for now. He'll be back.
ReplyDeleteHe will be back, right? Are we certain?
ReplyDeleteEither he'll be back or I'm thinking regular hunters will do the job.
ReplyDeleteWe know the elitist few won't stand for any humane methods, such as sterilization.
They want killing and bloodshed.
