Could the Outreach job posting have any relevance with the investigation?
Not making any accusation, but it's odd the very first qualification is Belief and support of the Mission and Values of the agency;.
I don't believe I ever seen that as a job qualification since it is understood you're supposed to be loyal and support your employer as a matter of course.
They're only being looked at because you sent in the complaint... this isn't even a full investigation (see document where they said they would notify you if they launch a full investigation). just relax.
Isn't that how it usually works, 10:18 AM? Mary Birks filed a complaint against Mark Hart, so the Ethics Commission investigated. Mark had to file a SFI. Elaine
There better be a full investigation, because an elected official voting to approve funds that go to an organization that will pass those funds onto that elected official is definitely an ethics violation.
Does it warrant more than a wrist slapping, maybe.
Whatever the outcome of the inquiry what is more alarming is that the SB president admits that she approved a budget tthat she had no idea of what that budget covered. That's scary!!!
Here is the article about Mark Hart and the State Ethics Commission. http://www.post-gazette.com/local/south/2010/07/22/Former-Mt-Lebanon-school-director-cited-in-audit/stories/201007220321
Funny how Dan Remely said that the finding was an embarrassment to the District. But it certainly isn't an embarrassment to have the school board president being investigated, right, Dan?
I'm told to just relax. That it is only a tiny investigation, not a full investigation. What am I thinking, 10:18 AM? It is no big deal, which could lead to fines or jail time. No biggie. Just make sure you vote for the Timmy Ticket. Only good can come out of that. Right, Dan? Elaine
Since you don't approve my comments, I'll try again: do you really think that this is some massive conspiracy and that your actions will lead to jail time or people to resign? You're not Bob Woodward. You filed a request, they're taking a look at it, then they'll likely deny it and you'll likely post that the conspiracy lives on.
Can't wait for your next story about how you had to get out of your salon appointment to put a quarter in a parking meter.
Dan Remely (Tim Team member) is also the guy that campaigned for re-election stating that he'd see to it that the HS project wouldn't exceed $100 million dollars and that if we built a LEED HS, kids would be able to go home and teach their parents about energy-efficient light bulbs.
It's time to bring some fresh thinking onto the school board.
In that PG article linked in your 3:51pm comment it reads "The Public Official and Employee Ethics Act requires all candidates for public office, public officials and certain public employees to complete statements of financial interest for the preceding calendar year annually, no later than May 1 of each year."
If Hart was guilty of not filling out the financial interest forms, aren't there a whole bunch of public employees and officials guilty of the same ethics violation?
Uh...yeah. But when I bring it to the municipality's attention, it isn't Keith McGill's job to check. We're still trying to get Susan Morgans to fill out one correctly. She forgot that she is secretary of The Press Club. Andrew McCreery and Dave Brumfield are also working for free, right along with Susan Morgans.
In another post, I listed all the ones who are in violation, but nothing ever happens. No one in the municipality cares or it isn't their job to follow up. Elaine
doesn't this just mean they received your complaint lol
ReplyDeleteuh, no, lol. I received notification previously. Nice try. It means that members of the Timmy Ticket are now under investigation.

I doubt it. I think it may be difficult to work for Mary Birks.

How hard can she be to work for? She doles out $20,000/year bonuses and extra vacation time as a school director fairly easily.

The But in Hart's case IT WAS AN ETHICS VIOLATION.
ReplyDeleteNow it's not really important.
I'm beginning to get the picture.
