Hearing is tomorrow UPDATED September 25, 2017 2X

I received this "yard sign" from a Democrat, along with a reminder that the hearing is tomorrow. No comments will be accepted on this one.

Update September 25, 2017 12:20 PM Well, he dodged that bullet. Hearing has been scheduled for two days after the Election.

Update September 25, 2017 2:58 PM On second thought, I will accept comments for this thread. Two days after the Election is pretty sneaky!

  1. Well, this was obviously done to help Grella.
I wonder if our shady magistrate, Blaise Larotonda (who sits on Grella's campaign committee) had anything to do with moving the date.
Wouldn't be the first time for that turd.

  2. 3:11, the date isn’t all that odd. Barton is a pretty upright guy.

  3. I don't think that the date change is odd. What is clear is that no charges were dropped or reduced at today's hearing. Of course, that would have been the best outcome for Gorilla.

Nobody likes Blaise. Especially his fellow DJs.

  4. The date change was intentional. Get real people!

  5. Mary--

The date change was intentional but how do you know that it was changed in order to assist Gorilla in some way?

A candidate approaching an election with the cloud of an arrest for public drunkenness and similar behavior hanging over his head is not a lucky candidate.

The outcome of the arrest has never really been the issue. Why was Gorilla walking Castle Shannon Boulevard at 3:40 AM? Why has a police report been filed about his middle of the night walk? His behavior sure has the appearance of impropriety to me.

  6. Gorilla should have exited the race for ward 4 commissioner immediately after his arrest. Maybe he thinks that the arrest is something good.

  7. If Blaise and/or Barton wanted to help Grella out of this mess, the charges would have been dropped or reduced yesterday. Clearly, that was not the case.

  8. Grella's arrest for public drunkenness is an albatross around his neck. The longer the charge sticks to him the worse off he will be. Of course, the bar for winning a commission seat is set rather low in Mt. Lebanon.

  10. Where can we get those yard signs? I would love one in my front yard.

  11. I haven’t yet seen one lawn sign supporting Grella in Ward 4.

    Plenty of Fischer’s.

  12. Maybe Grella decided to spare us and not run.

  13. No, according to his website, "Keeping Mt. Lebanon a safe and vibrant community is something only achieved when we all work together and take an active role in our government, schools, and …"

not get arrested for public drunkenness and similar misconduct?

His website is still showing us that we have not been spared, 4:34 PM.

  15. Had anyone in Lebo heard of Grella before he began to run for Ward 4 commissioner this year?

    I'm just curious.
