The municipality is buying two trucks for snow removal. See? There was a problem. Funding for these vehicles has been appropriated in the 2018 municipal budget.
Block parties has been on the sacred cow list for a couple of years now. In fact, remember how our now commission president got one of his Sleepy Hollow buddies all fired up and came to my door to tell me to mind my own business? The police ended up going to his house and told him that the next time, he will be arrested for trespassing. See Another unexpected visitor Also, a member of our PIO's family received preferential treatment, also from the same street.
On Monday's Commission Discussion Session agenda, FIFTEEN minutes will be devoted to reviewing the block party street list. I will be curious to see if Sleepy Hollow and Roycroft will be added to the "OK to have a block party" list. A certain school board director, also on the sacred cow list, may have the power to get her family and friends hired in the district, so it will be interesting to see if she carries any weight with the municipality and gets Roycroft approved.
Hmmm, I wonder are the odds of being in an accident on icy and snow covered road in Mt. Lebanon better or worse than being in an accident with a deer?
ReplyDeletePooch's sister is as nasty as she is. Did you see what she said following yours ?
ReplyDeleteReplacing two trucks does not validate that there is a “problem “
It must have been removed because it has vanished from Next Door.
Correct 1:36, but what does validate that there is a problem is that Dormont, Baldwin, Castle Shannon, Bethel and Whitehall has plowed and salted roads and MTL’s were still covered with snowed.
ReplyDelete8:14 am. The deer slaughter was never about car-deer collisions, which is less than 1% of collisions with injury, that was just a phony cover. It was about deer eating Barbara Logan's tulips, the library garden tour, and a handful of Logan toadies that wanted to help her get the deer slaughtered. Even when offered a humane and safe population management alternative, which was mostly funded w/o taxpayer dollars, these nice ladies demanded a slaughter.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the Block Party List...the PIO's family member no longer lives on Sleepy Hollow. That house is one of 8 up for sale on Sleepy Hollow from Highvue to Briarwood. I wouldn't hold my breath on having the moratorium lifted.
