Where are Josephine's manners?

What?  No thank you from the School Board President for Mr. Fraasch's service on the School Board?

Straight from her blog:

Board Member Resignation

Yesterday, James Fraasch resigned from the Board, effective immediately.  He expressed what an honor it has been to serve the District and wishes the Board and Mt. Lebanon School District only the best.

According to the school code, we must appoint someone to fill his position within 30 days. We have advertised the vacancy and ask for applicants to respond by December 24. We will then conduct interviews during a special public meeting on January 3. We will take action on an appointment at the January 10 Discussion Meeting.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions about the application process.
I wish Mr. Fraasch and his family all the best in the new year.

Thank you for your conscientious service to our community, James. Hopefully, someone with your depth of accounting experience will apply for your seat on the board; that is sorely needed.

All the best to you and your family, James; you will be missed.

David, as I remember it, James explained that the District could not go through another search for a superintendent since we had gone through many changes. I interpret that to mean, "What person in their right mind would want to be a superintendent at MTLDS?" He did vote against his raise.

Typo alert! I meant to type MTLSD. Oh jeeze. At least I am not getting paid for it.

Dear James,

I figure you saved the community at least 47 million dollars because as I remember in the beginning some school board/district administrators wanted to spend about 160 million on the high school project. It's now about 113 million. I appreciate your transparent, honest, hard working, knowledgeable contributions while you were on the school board. Blessings to you and your family.

James,

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your resignation is a major loss for our community and the children.

Would you please reconsider, stay on the Board, and ask all of the other Board members to resign instead?
