2019 Operation Protect and Secure Exercise
Operation Protect and Secure is now activated.
Please practice your lock-down emergency plan at this time, or simply use this time to train staff of lock-down procedures.
Once you have moved all staff, clients, and customers to your safe spot – the exercise is complete for your organization.
IN MEMORY: On September 11, 2001, at 9:57am brave individuals fought terrorists on United Airlines Flight 93. Those courageous individuals saved potentially hundreds of lives. During this exercise, officials ask you to show that same bravery and courage in helping your fellow work associates, students, teachers, faculty, and staff to seek a survival mentality. We honor Flight 93’s courage and bravery by practicing this drill. Seminole County holds those men and women that lost their lives on September 11 in the highest regard. Our prayers continue to be with all of the families and loved ones that lost someone on that date. And to those brave souls on Flight 93 who saved other’s lives – there is no thank you or gratitude that would ever be enough for their ultimate sacrifice. May God bless the United States of America.
