Cornell professor Paul Curtis and coauthor with Tony DeNicola estimated that Mt. Lebanon has between 700 and 800 deer in Mt. Lebanon with 100 more immigrants from neighboring communities. Amazingly, Curtis has never been to Mt. Lebanon, nor knew that it is six square miles.
So what do 800 deer look like superimposed over the municipal deer accident map? Here is a graphic representation of Curtis' claim.
If Mt. Lebanon had 800 deer, people would be seeing them everywhere. I haven't seen a deer in days.

There would be as many deer as streets that are under construction during rush hour, falling apart while money is spent on nonsense... wow, that is a lot of deer.
Deer Elaine--
Love the Carson pic. Excellent. It's right up there with Timmy the Builder.

Can't believe they didn't fix the crumbling curbs on Cochran while they had the opportunity. Still no crosswalks or ADA curbs at Cochran/Cedar. Bower Hill is falling apart too. Shameful.

Clearing my head between meetings with a little pop/post-punk ... and came across one of those "super-advanced deer" that the "experts" have been talking about...
A MUST-SEE VIDEO! -- Just imagine this taking place on Cochran Road:

if lebo is 6.06 sq miles in area then each of the vicious creatures would have roughly a 460x460ft area to call its own. take away the portion of the area paved or occupied by houses (or turfed!) and it starts to seem tight.
Now you are getting into impervious surfaces which has been determined in the stormwater fee as described in Ordinance 3187.
