Tis the season for the Haters Fa la la la...

'Twas the week before killing, when all thro' the town,
The gardeners were stirring, all with a frown.

The signs were hung at the golf course with care,
In hopes that DeNicola soon would be there;

The haters were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of bloodshed danced in their heads.
And Susan in her Gucci, and Keith ready to snap,
Had just settled down to write some more crap.

When out in the Park, there arose such a clatter,
they jumped from their desks, and dropped their shrimp platters.
Away to their limos, they drove in a dash,
Tore open the windows and Looked Up Lebo. (wait that doesn't rhyme.)

"Now, Brumfield! now Bendel! now Silverman too!
On Aaron, On McLean! Rudy! but not Fraasch. Boo hoo!
It's September and time for the cull.
Now kill away! Kill away! Kill away all!

Archery Season to start soon UPDATED

Archery season begins on September 17, 2016, thirty minutes before sunrise until thirty minutes after sunset with the killing to occur Mondays through Saturdays on private properties (locations unknown) and on public properties (the conservation district along Connor Road, the Mt. Lebanon Golf Course, Robb Hollow Park, Public Works, McNeilly Park, with Twin Hills Park hunting to begin a week later.) This will continue through January 27, 2017 with a break from November 27 until December 25, 2016.

Tony DeNicola is being paid $9,000 from our tax dollars to "manage" the volunteer archers to kill on twelve private "donated" properties (locations unknown) and the public properties listed above. (The "management" fee was only to occur last year, Year 1). The Pennsylvania Office of Open Records ruled twice that no properties are being "donated," merely, these twelve properties owners are only granting temporary access to their properties. All are benefitting by receiving the meat, if so desired, as well as less vegetation being eaten and a reduction of deer feces on their properties, both being cited for reasons to kill the deer. Mt. Lebanon resident Judge Terrence O'Brien ruled that the properties are in fact being donated, even though no property titles were transferred.

Update September 9, 2016 9:40 AM Mt. Lebanon just posted the "No Hunting" signs at all the entrances to Rockwood Park.

Same email, Aaron Lauth's response.

So when we feel like we are being harassed, call 9-1-1.

The good news is that tomorrow is the last day of archery season until December 26, 2015.

Subject: No Hunting signs

Since legal archery ended yesterday on Mt. Lebanon public property, will the bow hunting signs be removed and no hunting signs go up in their places? Legal archery in Mt. Lebanon parks, Public Works, Conservation District on Connor Road and golf course will resume on Monday, December 28, 2015.
