Dear Students and Families, 

Mt. Lebanon High School is currently hiring a high school social studies teacher and we are looking for student volunteers to participate in the interview process.  The interviews will be held on Thursday, July 13 from 12 pm - 4 pm.   Any student that volunteers to participate in the demonstration lessons will receive in-school community service hours.  

Please email Mr. Thompson (jthompson@mtlsd.net) if you are interested in attending the lessons.  

Student volunteers should report to the high school on Thursday, July 13 around 11:45 am and should enter the building at the B-9 entrance. 

If you previously contacted Mr. Thompson to express your interest you do not need to respond to this email again.

What is it with our public information officers?

Parents outraged after 9 students suspended for drinking at HS football game

The superintendent and school board directors refused to speak to the reporter about this. What about Cissy Bowman? Isn't she supposed to speak to the media? That's her job. What is it with our public information officers?

The policy on alcohol is here. Policy JICH Student Drug and Alcohol Offenses Evidently, parents are outraged because Mt. Lebanon is enforcing their policy. Entitlement at its finest.
