According to the clerk in the Castle Shannon magistrate's office, Grella's case is still sitting on the magistrate's desk. Grella complied, so the magistrate will be dismissing the case.

If Grella gets reelected, he could certainly use the 43% increase for his legal defense fund.

Grella is off the hook again
Tuesday, December 26, 2017
Summary Trial with next door neighbor begins tomorrow at 9 AM UPDATED
This might be awkward. Soon to be commissioner of Ward 4 will be facing his next door neighbor tomorrow morning at 9 AM.
Craig Grella's Summary Trial begins tomorrow morning in front of Magisterial District Judge Blaise P. Larotonda, Craig's next door neighbor.
Craig's November 9, 2017 hearing for public drunkenness and similar misconduct is still active.
https://ujsportal.pacourts.us/DocketSheets/MDJReport.ashx?docketNumber=MJ-05217-NT-0000326-2017 I can't understand why it is taking so long.
Ward 4's new commissioner will be sworn in on January 2, 2018 at 8 PM in the Commission Chambers.
Update December 27, 2017 4:25 PM DISMISSED. Blaise dismissed Craig's case.

Thanks for doing your homework, MLRC
From Facebook:
Third from the left, Mt. Lebanon's newly elected commissioner, Craig Grella, is pictured at the opening session of the Local Government Academy's course for newly elected officials. This course is a great way for officials to review the basics of local government, ask questions, meet some of their peers and be ready to hit the ground running when they are sworn in in January. Thanks for doing your homework, Mr. Grella! But we still don't know about Mr. Grella's arrest, do we? And what about that conflict of interest? From March 29, 2017 Is this odd or what? UPDATED 2X We can thank the MLRC for that one. They would rather photograph an excellent candidate in front of a fire engine, than inform the public about these irregularities. Just keep blaming the Democrats, MLRC. What a crew!

Hearing is today UPDATED 11/11/17
Incoming Ward 4 Commissioner, Craig Grella is appearing before Magisterial District Judge David J. Barton TODAY. His hearing for public drunkenness and similar misconduct begins at 9:00 AM in Castle Shannon.
Way to go, Ward 4!
Update November 11, 2017 3:51 PM Written on Facebook thirty minutes after the hearing. Look out Steve McLean, the only Republican on the commission, a preview of coming attractions. It demonstrates Mt. Lebanon Unity at its best.

Sorry, this is a long Facebook post, but I thought it would be more appropriate here than on my website where name tagging is not as easy to do.
Thank you, family, volunteers, donors, and Democratic committee members for all your help these past few months. There are too many names, but I'd like to call attention to a few here.
First, thank you to Amy Grella for being the best. Period. Nothing would have been possible without you being superwoman.
Thanks to Mt. Lebanon Democratic Committee chair Michelle Zmijanac, who spent countless hours on the phone and in meetings with me. She is one of the hardest working people in Mt. Lebanon.
Democratic Commissioners Steve Silverman and David Brumfield, John Bendel, and Kelly Fraasch - thank you for being available for my endless questions.
Thank you to the Allegheny County Democratic Committee chair Nancy Millsand executive director Donald Joseph Ryan for your advice and resources - I appreciate all that you do.
Thank you to the dedicated volunteers who put their hearts and souls into improving our community every day: Barbara Logan, Geoff Hurd, Jay Brinton,Valerie Fleisher, Mykie Reidy, Lynne Hughes, Mary Catherine Macik, Lynda Park, Joan DiPetro, Chris Cox, Jody Wilson, and Anatole Wilson, and all the others who canvassed, phone banked, and talked to other neighbors and friends with and for me.
Thanks to my campaign treasurer Justin Hackett.
Thank you to all my neighbors for tolerating political discourse during block parties, and for decorating your lawns with Craig sings - I'd prefer you recycle those but I would not be upset if they become commemorative firepit fuel.
My opponent Bob Fischer was a gentleman during this race and I hope he continues to discuss the important issues as he did during the campaign.

Spinning Class in Ward 4 UPDATED 10/15/17
Remember this? Docket Number: MJ-05217-NT-0000326-2017 We're still awaiting Blaise's next door neighbor's plea. The latest is that Gorilla was targeted by the police for his left-wing views, hence the "bogus" citation. The Castle Shannon cops got Gorilla drunk and dumped him on the street at 4 AM.
Craig Grella is so confident of his victory, that he is coordinating the Post-Election Gathering at Bados on Beverly. Good luck with that, Gorilla.

You can't do this in our parks. Public drunkenness TBD.
There is no smoking in our parks.* Our commissioners passed the ordinance a couple of years ago. So please, when you are firing your lethal weapons, such as high powered rifles or cross bows, in our parks, don't smoke. It can kill us.
*Public drunkenness TBD. To learn more, attend this event at Mt. Lebanon Public Library on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00 AM - Noon.
Update October 2, 2017 2:49 PM From yet ANOTHER Democrat. Sorry, but it is hilarious.
