We can all agree we're getting a high school with steel panel siding instead of glass, aluminum wiring, pared down administrative offices and no LEED certification at a cost our community cannot afford.

What was that forum about again?

It was about being agreeable to getting 80% of what we were promised at max spend. Bill Hook

I have to wonder... Let's go into the "bizarro world!"

Let's pretend we have a school board full of people who are actually in favor of fiscal responsibility. Let's say that they're all against a new high school because the costs are prohibitive and they know investment in a physical building will not equal improved education for children. Let's pretend this fictional school board also told the athletic organizations "the money is just not there to improve fields for games. We are focused on education."

I wonder how many of those who are saying "you're being disagreeable" would be, themselves, disagreeable?

Oh, that's right, we don't have to play "What if?" We got to see it when they were protesting in the streets, putting lawn signs out, accusing people of being "against athletics" and "against children," and threatening/intimidating people in multiple communication formats.

Yes, I too have read Alinsky. I know how the game is played people.
