Newsweek's Best High Schools 2012

It's that time again.  I wrote about this last year here: Newsweek's Best Public High Schools in America Newsweek released their list today.  America's Best High Schools 2012 Upper St. Clair ranked #244, while Mt. Lebanon was "close behind" at No. 518.

Other southwestern Pennsylvania high schools that made the list are:
      • No. 488 Fox Chapel Area

      • No. 624 North Allegheny 

      • No. 627 Pine-Richland 

      • No. 648 Quaker Valley

      • No. 662 Hampton

      And what were the millage rates in those districts listed here one might ask?

      A quick scan reveals that a number of the schools in the Top 50 are charter schools.
      That seems to contradict the propaganda of the PSBA, the teachers union and Mrs. Birks regarding charters.

      Good thing Mary was in Harrisburg last year actively lobbying on behalf of our public school sysytem..Oops, did I just point out YET ANOTHER legal violation? Silly me. Oh, and to the MTL Repub Committee--these are the people you actively support?? What a joke.
