I am so tired of the media promoting the 2016 Presidential Election as the election that divided the country. Big Joe is right. Look up the history of Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger founded the first clinic in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn, NY. Founded in its current incarnation in 1858, it has been characterized as a slum through most of its existence. Initially a settlement composed of Jewish factory workers, Brownsville underwent a major demographic change in the 1950s that saw an influx of African-American and Latino residents. Since then, it has consistently held one of the highest poverty and crime rates of any neighborhood in New York City. When Barack Obama won both times, there were no protests, no violence. In fact, in my life time, I don't know of any elections where the opposing party behaved like this. This can lead to anarchy, and then we're all in trouble.
