I have decided to make the update from the previous post, its own. Only because the author is the biggest proponent of violence in Mt. Lebanon.
This is just precious. Michalina Pendzich submitted this letter to the editor to the PG. Mondays with Murphy: Nonviolent and lawful Michalina is the ring leader of Lebo Residents for Effective Deer Management Deer, whose goal is killing deer in Mt. Lebanon.
Update July 10, 2017 3:20 PM I just received this KDKA report from June 19, 2017:
Former PSEA Leader To Run Against Congressman Tim Murphy
Murphy will not be easy to defeat.
But his support for President Trump has angered lots of constituents who are already organizing to support whoever challenges the congressman.
Still, while the 18th District in Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties is majority Democrat, it voted for Donald Trump for president.

You've got that right, Elaine. What organization would have her as a member? What organization would let her represent their interests in a letter to the editor?
It is a hoot that Rambolina is now preaching non-violence.
I don't know if that Murphy group had any cred in the community but if it did it is now gone, thanks to Michalena's letter to the editor. She is the face of the lunatic fringe in Mt. Lebo.
Wait. Maybe Rambolena DID vandalize Murphy's office. She's crazy enough.
Protesting Murphy is ok.
Protesting deer killing is not ok.
Roger.
8:37,
Precisely.
Does anyone know if her group does anything besides block the sidewalks in front of Murphy's office all the time?
Besides continually speaking at commission meetings for the past three years, urging commissioners to continue killing deer? Sorry, no.
Elaine
That second link ...
“This is a false problem,” said Jason Margolis, who moved to his home on Morrison Drive nearly four years ago. “They say, ‘The deer are a danger to the drivers, so we must kill them.’ But the deer are not a statistically significant danger. They are a nuisance, at worst, to ‘the petunia class.’ To many others, they are a pleasure to see.”
... ah, the good old days. So much has changed since then. The petunia class has not.
So is this anti-Murphy group one in the same with the pro-kill group? Sounds like it is.
Seems as though Michalene got lost on her way to an NRA meeting and just fell in with these anti-Murphy people.
It's all very odd.
I've seen the anti Murphy signs. What is the group protesting exactly? Is it that hard to getting a meeting with the guy?

I don't really understand all of this. Are the cops investigating Michalena about the graffiti at Murphy's office?
Sorry, what is objectionable about Ms. Penzich's letter? Her group had been peaceably protesting a congressman's office, vandalism occurs at the office, and the group is blamed. And she's objects to the blame.
How about this. 50% of children in the United States rely on Medicaid. We are in the grips of an drug overdose crisis. We are in the grips of a mental health crisis. The president held a celebration on the White House lawn for a healthcare bill he called "mean." This indicates he is more interested in a political win than good lawmaking. Our representative, Tim Murphy, who is a fine man, refuses to face his rightfully angry constituents. He voted for a bill that will result in worse health outcomes for many Americans.
The author of this blog, who voted for Trump because of healthcare concerns, should be parked in a lawn chair beside Ms. Penzich. Life is not a friends and enemies list; every issue has two sides and every person has different perspectives. That you'd impugn her for something unrelated is remarkable.
Somehow, Trump's name seems to crop up in this debate. Here is something to consider, 8:55 AM. I did not vote for Murphy in the last election. Since Murphy ran unopposed, I wrote in a name. Clutching my pearls as I am typing, I wrote in a Democrat's name. Why didn't the Democrats run someone against Murphy?
As far as Michalena's group goes, her group may have been peacefully protesting, just as the anti-kill group had been peacefully protesting, yet when there was an "incident," all fingers pointed to our group. Right or wrong, that is how it seems to go. Or is it Karma?
Elaine
It doesn't appear to me in the articles about the vandalism that Micholina's group was blamed for anything.
I thought about joining in one of those protests in front of Murphy's office. Glad I didn't.
Vipperman is also part of that group. Didn't you include emails from her on your Blog ?
Maybe she likes Murphy because he is pro-NRA. I think he is.
8:55 How about this. 100% of Mt. Lebanon's children are in danger because people like these allow hired guns in their backyards for sport.
the words michalena and non-violence should not be used in the same sentence. IMO.
10:45, great point. I'm sure the parents of Lebo children with disabilities would DEFINITELY prefer an end to the deer cull over continued funding for their children's care. A+!

That <$100,000 spent on killing deer would go a long way towards supporting anyone of the above organizations.
12:01 - so the municipality should've taken the money for the deer cull and give it to the schools to help students with disabilities? What if they gave it to Planned Parenthood?
You know the answer to that, 8:43 PM. 12:01 PM does not realize that the school district and the municipality are two different local governments. If they pay their taxes with one check, it will be returned.
The bottom line to this post is that the biggest proponent to violence in Mt. Lebanon and criticized us for having peaceful protests, is now staging a rally to demonstrate their first amendment right of assembly.
sigh.
Elaine
8:43, the municipality doesn't really have $100,000 to give to anyone, charity or deer hunter that they don't take from us taxpayers.
Honestly, I'd rather see my hard-earned tax money going towards an investment in special ed staff or materials in the school district before going to kill a few deer to protect some gardens.
Elaine, I most certainly do understand that the district and the municipality are two completely different taxing bodies.
I was trying to make the point that IF someone is going to take $100,000 out of the community of Mt. Lebanon I'd prefer it went towards something more important like special needs/education (or banking it for the crown jewel replacement in 8-10 years that we should be saving for) than killing deer.
Haters gonna hate. Michelina needs to get a life.
