To add insult to injury...

In addition to watching Timmy get an award for doing a satisfactory job, and seeing the school board president who is under investigation with the Ethics Commission, the school board approved publishing the 2016 list of liened properties at last night's school board meeting.

The list is in a different format this year. In the past, properties were listed in order of balance due. In addition, the addresses were also listed. This is the list from last year for comparison.

The usual culprits are there, including my former commissioner, as well as a Lebolife blogger.

On the first page, 11th name down---- the district owes itself $1600 dollars. What the heck? And with a stellar Superintendent🙀

Yeah, MTLSD owns the vacant land on Illinois Avenue. The land is valued at $60,300.

Yes, so they're delinquent on their taxes and I suppose they'll be paying themselves penalty and interest. Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Just out of curiosity, what is Beverly Heights Co? They are both years for multiple minimal amounts. On the 2015 listing, the addresses are all over the place.

Forget Beverly Heights Co. who is Deaktor Development? They're in the hole by around $60,000.
What's the penalty and interest on those amounts and do we know if they're ever collected or do they just slip away like unpaid parking fines?

I looked one up by parcel on the Allegheny County website and saw that it was an apartment building on McFarland.

Stevenson Williams is consistently delinquent with their school taxes, perhaps the board president should recommend that Outreach move to a building that pays their taxes on time since the district helps pay Outreach's rent.

Stevenson Williams eventually pays.

The amounts paid are the same as the amount in dispute.
So do the amounts in dispute include penalties and interests?
And court cost?
