Interesting quote by the Bethel Board president: "While these cuts have been difficult to make, they will be sustainable cuts that can be carried over into the future," said board President Donna Cook. "I believe this will be the first of many tough budget years Pennsylvania schools will be facing."

According to the recipient our board president on the other hand emailed them this tidbit on bike racks: “I would anticipate a small number of students biking to the high school due to backpacks, instruments and athletic equipment that many of them bring to school. The bike racks' intended users would most likely be faculty and staff, some of whom walk to school or live within a distance where biking would be an attractive alternative to driving.”

I can see the president's deliberation now: "lets see... books... bike racks... books... bike racks???? What to do, what to do?
Think I'm going for the attractive alternative to driving for faculty and staff... bike racks!"

ONCE AGAIN, SO NO ONE FORGETS.
The majority of the players in the continuing high school renovation saga are the same players that CLAIMED B building couldn't be renovated to a "21st century" education facility!
Surprise, surprise now it will be. Isn't that amazing how the "facts" keep changing!
