This is so bad UPDATED

The League of Women Voters is sponsoring a Candidates Forum for the special election for the 42nd State House District and news to me, Allegheny County Council seat.

Please look at the photos of the candidates for the special election. The names under Dan Miller and Dan Remely are switched. Dan Miller is wearing the suit and tie. Dan Remely is the man with glasses.  Your're welcome, Mr. Miller. :)

Where's the dweeb who was all over you about your candidate committee ? LWV has two strikes against them - not standing up to the PTA and now this !

I am not proud to be a R, a woman voter, or a former PTA member right now.

Something I always wondered, considering the number of women in high places-- Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, nationally, Posti, Birks, Cappucci, Fraasch, Linfante, locally -- why is there no League of Men Voters?
And why do we need segregated Leagues at all? Aren't men and women interested in the same things from politicians?

1:59 Think of it, Clinton, Pelosi, Posti, Birks, Cappucci, Fraasch, Linfante - all democrats.

Poor Dan Miller!; it's like Gene Kelly being mistaken for Al Capone!

RCML - "Republican Committee for Men in Leadership" or maybe since he is double-dipping - "Remely's Committee for Men in Leadership"? Can't wait to see how that turns out... - ha!

Good one, 2:43 PM. How about Raja's Committee for Men in Leadership? After all, Mrs. Mark Harris, not Sue Means is endorsed by the RCML for County Council.

I wouldn't go so far as to make any connection to the LWV and democrats.
I was only citing females in office that most of us would be familiar with.
I can think of Republican women that hold high offices too, such asgovernors: Mary Fallin of Oklahoma, Nikki Haley of South Carolina, andSusana Martinez of New Mexico.
One might make a claim that the local LWV may lean to the democratic party, but I wasn't insinuating it.
Now if one wants to make the case that the PTA is controlled by liberal, left-thinking, environmentalist I could see that accusation maybe being true.

Now if you really want to start making accusations this one is pretty blatant as reported by The Washington Post.

"IRS acknowledges that it singled out conservative groups
The Internal Revenue Service paid special attention to conservative groups during the runup to the 2012 election, subjecting them to additional reviews to see whether they were abusing their tax-exempt status, says Lois Lerner, the IRS's head of tax-exemption oversight. "That was absolutely incorrect, it was insensitive and it was inappropriate," she said. "The IRS would like to apologize for that." The Washington Post (5/10),
We all know the Lebo PTA should have been investigated for abusing its tax exempt status in school board elections.
