Six years ago, I started Dress 4 Work through my church, in conjunction with the Urban League of Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, the Urban League lost its funding and ended the program. Their clothing donations were shipped to Capacity Developers, Inc. CDI was able to fill the gap by providing clothing assistance to individuals involved in employment and training initiatives. During the month of November, I will be collecting men’s business, scrubs, and business casual attire that are clean and fashionable. Items needed are men’s suits, slacks and jackets, scrubs, work shirts, golf shirts, dress shirts, ties, socks, shoes, coats, and even tuxedos!

Please check your closets and drawers and at the same time, help job-seeking men become self-sufficient members of their communities. Thank you for supporting this annual event and helping men Dress 4 Work.

That is a good Case for Support, Elaine. I hope you will publish the District's Case for Support for their charitable efforts when it is finalized and made public.

John, why the hell should I be charitable to the district? They're bullies. They are selfish. They spend money foolishly. They have zero compassion for people who are out of work, looking for jobs, or have failing businesses. They think they are above everyone else. Everything that Tom wasn't.
I owe them nothing except paying my taxes.

Why the fight? Either give if you can or move on! With so much "Wrong" fight those battles. And PLEASE everyone in Dave B's area do a write-in. We were going to use "Lassie" but my kids told us that Dave B's next door neighbors have a real Lassie. What was the Bud dog mascot name... We need to send this loser a message!
W. C. Fields is my write-in candidate.
That is W. C., as in What Cost Fields. It won't change the outcome of this election, but it will send a message that will reverberate throughout the municipality in preparation for the next election cycle.
I understand there is a write-in candidate for County Commissioner according to lawn signs at the intersection of Cochran and Greentree Roads.
How would your write in vote send a message? Actually he is not a loser, he will be the winner! I think you have delusions of granduer "a message that will reverberate throughout the municipality"!

Of course, Brumfield wins because thereis no W. C. Fields in Ward 4 eligible to win, but he wouldn't be able to walk around and say he had a mandate by a majority of voters in his ward to artificially turf fields.
Oh by the way he lost on opening Williamsburg Park to dogs.

Personally, I can't see giving Mr. Brumfield another term.
Now I could sit on my duff and not vote, which sends no message other than I don't care, I'm too lazy or I'm too stupid to think my vote doesn't mean much.
I prefer to believe that even a losing vote counts for something.
Of course 4:42, I'm just a "wing-nut", but apparently I'm not a total nut.

dissatisfaction to one’s most-preferred political party.” Such a vote can make sense when a
voter cares about aspects of the election result beyond the identity of the winner. Concretely,

I don't think Dave B's next door neighbors will vote for him... Nor many around him! This was a wasted opportunity to get rid of him. But to give you all some good news my health insurance was dropped today and its replacement will ONLY cost me $1100 a month (Was $325) with a $6000 deductible (Was $2000) and an Out-of-Pocket (Which now is off for 2014) of $12,750. That's Democrat's idea of affordable then what is UN-affordable?
