Do they offer this in a "no fat" version?
I wish. ;)

Elaine, no beer?
How in the world can you raise money for anything and expect bubble people to attend without the obligatory Beerfest!
Just kidding, wish your Fair much success.
Actually, I think we will have beer and wine. I am going there for dinner, so I will let you know.

As soon as I saw this post about this lovely event, I just knew somebody would leave a snide remark about drinking.
Yes, adults enjoy drinking alcohol at social events.
Now, clutch your pearls and faint!!
Actually, 2:49 it would be nice to enjoy a glass of wine of even a glass of beer at this "lovely event."
I have attended it and taken clients there for a pleasurable business lunch and I can honestly say that I don't know if alcohol is available or not.
Elaine, who is involved with the church couldn't say for sure if they serve or not.
It doesn't matter, you obviously missed the point entirely.
He is a fund raiser, a great successful one, and nobody really cares if alcohol is served or not.
As opposed to the oh so imaginative and obligatory approach to fund raising by the municipality - the Beerfest!
I just find it ironic that a community that recognizes it has a problem with DUIs, underage drinking uses beer parties to attract people to their causes.
Again, I hope the Greek Food Festival great success. They have a great outdoor area to enjoy the delicious food.
Another piece of baklava could make me faint though... Yum.
I was at the church for lunch again today and saw some wine being served. Not sure about the beer. It is customary to serve wine and/or beer with meals.
Saw some familiar faces from Mt. Lebanon. Thanks for coming!

Like I said...snide remark...about drinking.
Where is their a snide remark about drinking?
I like drinking, a good red wine with steak, good beer with brats, a scotch or martini mingling with friends.
There's no snide remark about drinking.
There is a snide remark about closing down a major roadway for a Beerfest in the name of fundraising.
How about a Pizzafest, where Lebo's Pizza Houses compete for the Best Lebo Pizza! Festival goers spend an evening sampling and voting for the best pizza, accompanied by a cold brew to clean the palate between samples.
7:12PM, that's a great idea. Pizza is one thing that appeals to most everyone. It's something that meat eaters and vegetarians alike can agree on.
Thank you 1:47. The idea is to take the focus off the drinking!
I'm not trying to stop drinking, not implying that everyone in Lebo is an alcoholic or that alcohol is the Devil's Elixir.
Can't we ggrow up a little in the bubble and be a little more creative?
This isn't Animal House, do we really need keggers to benefit a charrity or non-profit?
C'mon people, the kids are watching how we behave, they take their cues from us believe it or not.
While most adults here probably are very experienced in consuming beer, an inexperienced teenager thinking a party must habe beer to be a party isn't equipped to know when enough is enough.
Pizzafest, great idea!
Cooper could be Master of Ceremony, if anyone knows quality pizza it'd be the guy that pays $50 for two large ones.
Sorry, we had no pizza.
Thanks to all who supported our Food Fair.
