A Lebo Citizens reader drove by Public Works today and personally witnessed a dead deer with its legs up in the air next to the dumpster on a blue tarp behind a red SUV and 2 hunters with beards, standing next to it giving him the eye as he drove by both ways. The hunters, one in a red suv parked right next to the dumpster and another in a dark gray Tacoma using the far dumpster to dispose of deer entrails. Unfortunately, he did not have a camera with him.
Another Lebo Citizens reader happened to drive by and got these photos.
When the first blog reader returned with a camera, he took these pics:
Tonight, when the second blog reader returned:

I spoke with Roy from Animal Control about 6 months ago and asked him what he does with dead deer he encounters in Mt Lebanon and he said he takes them to the dump.
Horrified I asked him where the dump is and he stopped talking.
Is the dump a dumpster at Public Works?
This is horrifying. How do these commissioners possibly think that Mt Lebanon can be a good place to live when deer are being thrown in dumpsters?
These types of pictures should be emailed to the commissioners and posted on your other site. They are horrifying.
Picture #3 may be the vehicle I saw parked in the driveway of the house on Oak Forest that has a tree stand. It had tinted windows, same color, and I believe the same model from appearances. I didn't get a look at the back because it seemed the driver had intentionally pulled into the driveway backwards (perhaps obscuring a view of the license plate).
Won't I get ticketed or arrested if I take my trash or remodeling debris and put them in a town dumpster?
Disturbing...and deer related.
