Off topic, but MTL is looking for nominees for its Volunteer Awards.
I wonder if Dan Miller would like to nominate Elaine Gillen since he solicited her help with the Unity Rally.

Elaine certainly fulfills all the requirements for a nomination and Rep. Miller's endorsement would carry a lot of weight.

"The selection criteria for Mt. Lebanon Community Service Award are:

• Candidate makes a significant contribution to the community in a volunteer service capacity

• Candidate participates in humanitarian activities that make a difference in the well-being of others

• Candidate has exceptional ethical qualities and strives to improve and preserve the community

• Candidate is an inspirational role model for the Mt. Lebanon community.

What a great way to show Unity in Mr. Lebanon. Show everyone that whether democrat, republican, independent, male, female, Christian, Jew, Muslim, white, black, conservative, liberal, rich, poor we can appreciate our difference and meet to exchange ideas amicably.

Too bad it'll never happen.

Correction... Mr. Lebanon, not Mr.

Elaine... do you try to nominate yourself anonymously on your own blog? Planting the seeds in others heads to nominate you? Do you strive to "improve the community," or do you just try to get it to be exactly how you want?

3:28, if she craved the award that much she could have done it or had someone submit and not put anything on her blog.

The bigger question is why is the idea of Elaine being nominated such a threat... Susan?
