Two people asked me about the vacancy, so maybe I should explain what is going on. Nobody quit. Mike Riemer won the two year term, as well as the four year term. It looks like he has accepted the four year term, so now the board will have to appoint someone to fill the two year seat. The remaining two year term was from when Elaine Cappucci had to resign because of her son's teaching position. Elaine ran to replace herself, but lost to Mike. Hope that clears up the confusion a little. I still don't understand how Elaine Cappucci ran to replace herself, but that's another story.

What about you, Elaine?

Any classroom benefits from the exchange of multiple viewpoints, challenging the mind to grow and refine one's thoughts... I think you could bring this to the Board, and potentially by extension, to the schools.

That would be fun to watch Jan, Timmy, and Cissy squirm. All need to go. Ha! I will think about that one, Jason.

It was a little after 9:00 PM when I checked to see if Timmy's goals for 2017-2018 had been published yet. As Mary Birks likes to say, "Nope." Timmy's contract runs from July 1 - June 30. As of November 28, 2017, the goals are still listed for 2016-2017.
Timmy also stopped his mindful tweeting. I guess he doesn't have to do anything since he has no goals to achieve.

I wonder if Tim's goals are being revised now that his puppets no longer hold positions of power or, increasingly, no positions at all.

That said it speaks poorly of Birks that she couldn't get this simple thing done in June or July.
