We learned tonight that the archery will be from September through January. We also learned that we really didn't need to give $15,000 to DeNicola because residents can use anyone they want on their private properties.
We also learned that Wildlife Services has ways to beat the gun free school zones law of 1990. Obviously, because they killed deer at Lincoln School in 2006-2007.

Who wants a sign?

Elaine--I wasn't there yet when the yahoos said they could get around the federal GFZSA. Did they say HOW they could get around that?

Yes, there are two ways. The school district and the municipality could give them permission. And private property next to the schools is exempt. Allegedly.

We also learned tonight that Coleen Vuono wants as many dead deer as possible in the shortest period of time hence the last minute agenda add-on to get approval of a sharpshooting agreement voted on at the September 8th meeting. The appalling part is that Coleen Vuono slipped this in without giving taxpayers time to voice their concerns. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky!! Coleen's definition of "public engagement" appears to be "public dis-engagement."
