This is yet another black mark against our commissioners. Killing deer in Twin Hills does not more than kill Scott Township deer. Barbara Logan must be thrilled.
August 19, 2016 11:52 AM Cowards! This is the latest LeboAlert.
This is an important notice from LeboALERT.August 20, 2016 8:18 AM So why were the commission discussion session and the commission meeting canceled?
Commission discussion session/adjourned meeting for Mon, Aug. 22, are cancelled. Exec session only. Next regular Commission meeting is Sept.13.
There were no agenda items other than one that is not time sensitive.
KeithAugust 23, 2016 9:11 PM I stopped in at the end of the Scott Township meeting tonight and learned that Mt. Lebanon gave their 30 day notice to start archery in Twin Hills. Does that make it September 23, 2016?

Scott lost when they repealed their conditional use requirement for Twin Hills. Also, as an acquaintance once told me years ago, Lebo is home to some of the finest judges money can buy.
As they used to say in that old Dennison's Clothier commercial on New York's WABC, "Money talks and nobody walks!" - and if anyone who reads this Blog knows what I'm referring to I'll be surprised!
You must mean in your title: "MTL Character Loses, MTL Staff Wins."
"Barbara Logan must be thrilled"
Ex-Commissioner Barbara Logan press quotes from the 2006/2007 time frame. No mention of car-deer collisions.
"My shouting and screaming at them does nothing," she said.
"My concern is that if, or when, this plan happens, many of us will be disappointed because our deer are not in an area where we can cull them," said Commissioner Barbara Logan.
"I'm afraid that once we start culling them, they'll lay low until it is over,"added Logan
Ms. Logan said she understood that some people are upset at the thought of killing deer, but whether they die from old age, disease, hunger or hunting, "One way or another, the deer are going to die."
This judge's ruling was ridiculous, and I hope that Scott Township appeals.
Lebo cancelled the next public Commission meeting so that tax paying residents opposed to the use of lethal weapons and hunting in their community can't speak out at public comments. This is their clever way to censure freedom of speech, and keep these comments from being broadcast to the rest of the community.
Who will enforce the several conditions contained in the Order? Mt. Lebanon? No. PGC? No. Then, who?
