Donnellan and Feller agreed now is the time to invest in the buildings, such as the main recreation center building. When questioned Donnellan said an elevator is a high priority, but that any projected date for completion would be premature.

It goes without saying that fields for six year old girls are needed more than elevators for the handicapped or senior citizens at the recreation center. To expect hot water, clean locker rooms, and painted walls without holes in our recreation facilities is self-serving. McNeilly Park: Just Dig It Sarah Morris
