A record setting meeting

The Utilities Review Team met at the High School Library on Thursday night for a community forum.  The meeting lasted one minute, twenty two seconds.  If you have time to listen to it, here is the link. The Utilities Operation Review Team Community Forum

It seems the that only member of the public who attended this Community Forum was the person who audio recorded the meeting and made no public comment ?

Does this reflect public disinterest or lack of faith and trust in the process or system ?

This meeting was to receive public comment only....not to report on any progress or status of the work of the committee.

Bill, I received this comment in an email:

Did they expect tons of people to be there for this meeting to tell them what they thought of the utilities?

Wasn't the ENTIRE POINT of getting these COMMUNITY groups together to get input from the COMMUNITY...that is why there are COMMUNITY MEMBERS on the committee. Why would they then set up a meeting to see if more people in the community had comments? The community was ON THE COMMITTEE ALREADY!

Like most of the other groups, they should have been there to present what they had found so far.

Sorry about the CAPS but my goodness what a waste.
