Questions submitted to the School Board about the Renovation

Subject: Questions from your constituents

Dear School Board Directors,

Attached is a list of 25 questions that were submitted here. http://lebocitizens.blogspot.com/2011/09/ask-school-board-about-renovation.html Originally, there were 47 comments.  I tried to trim down the questions, but in many cases, that was impossible to do, due to the complexity of the project.

Please review the attachment and send your replies directly to me.  I will reprint your replies on the blog.  Thanks for taking the time to answer these very important questions concerning the high school renovation project.

Gee, maybe Ms. Reilly at the PG can offer guidance to the board from her reporting of the town hall meeting.
"Panel looks at incivility in public dialogue

A mediator, a political science professor, a newspaper columnist, a priest and a psychologist sat down together last week in the Mt. Lebanon municipal building and tried to answer the question: "Can we disagree without being disagreeable?"

I thought this was a big point...

"Part of the reason the level of discourse has declined is that Americans have lost faith in and respect for public institutions, said David Miller, a professor with the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh."

I'm thinking if the board answered the questions they could restore a lot of faith and respect. Too bad their egos stand in the way!

I will not be taking any more anonymous comments on this thread. I want to give the board every opportunity to answer the questions.

Don't forget to cast your vote here and at the polls next month.
