One year and 422 posts ago, I wrote my first blog entry. Lebo Citizens has been read in 1,043 cities or 52 countries across the world. The most popular post was Where is President Posti's integrity?
Thank you, Lebo Citizens readers, for your support, your wealth of information, comments, and criticism. I have learned so much from this experience.

Congrats. I'm sure it's a lot of work.

I'm thinking due to the timeliness and accuracy of LeboCitizens reporting maybe Elaine should be appointed Offical Townreporter.
All officers, administrators, construction managers, architects will then have one central location for filing and checking info.
That way we won't have officials misstating things like bid deadlines changes.

Like Mr. Franklin said: "I'm sure it's a lot of work."
So how about it Mt. Lebanon magazine, how can you ignore Elaine for - "This Town Would Be Different Without... outstanding citizen program"

Whoa, guys. I'm not looking for recognition. It keeps me out of the bars. ;>)
Thanks for your kind words.
Elaine
If I thought you were doing it for recognition, I wouldn't have suggested it.

The podcasts are priceless. In the past we wouldn't be able to hold folks accountable because we didn't have their words recorded. Now we do. Thank you for that.

Congratulations, Elaine!
It takes a lot of work – and thick skin – to run a blog, and you've done a darn good job of it with Lebo Citizens.
One full year is an important milestone. Most blogs don't last a month. If you can make it for a year, you can make it for as long as you want. And I hope you'll want to keep on blogging for a long, long time.
So take a bow: you've earned it :-)
Cheers,
Tom
Elaine:
Congratulations! Lebo Citizens is one of the most active Blogs in this community; especially when it comes to the exchange of ideas. You may be justifiably proud of it.
Elaine,
Congratulations and Bravo for all your efforts! Without your hard work and tenacity residents would never have the benefit of an informed and different point of view regarding the goings-on in Mt. Lebanon. (Funny thing, my word verification for this comment is "faksfu" - could that mean facts for you?)
