PTA's School Board Director Candidates Q & A

This was sent out to the PTA members recently. I thought I would give the write-in candidates and the two candidates already on the ballot a chance to respond. I will print their responses as they are sent.

Mt. Lebanon School Board Director Candidates Q and A

Mt. Lebanon Council PTA has compiled a list of questions for school board director candidates and submitted the list to them for their answers. This is a non-partisan service PTA provides to the community so it can learn more about the candidates.

To see the candidates' responses, click here.

Don't forget to vote on Tuesday, November 8!

I think it's great that Mt. Lebanon voters finally have choices for school board in the upcoming election.
However, I think it would be helpful to know more about them---their backgrounds, work, perspectives, how long they've lived in the community, etc. Also, it would be nice to have a way to contact them about a specific issue.

Rather than the PTA Q&A I'd like to hear the candidates (All) responses to Dan Rothchild's post over at Lebodesign.,, "The challenge now is to understand if the total amount of these seven contracts, plus “work by others” including Food Service Equipment and Signage, plus all of the soft costs, will be under the proscribed budget of $113 million.

Perhaps the “work by others” and soft costs are public knowledge and available to the community so that simple math can be done at the bid opening to see if the project is under budget. If not, maybe the School Board would consider posting that information."

Which candidates are going to give us the simple math as he suggest?
