MTL is appealing again

No surprise here. Mt. Lebanon is appealing the Office of Open Records' Final Determination for my second RTK which was granted in my favor. Here is the new docket.

Mt. Lebanon has no problem putting my address all over the place. This will be consolidated with the first case. The court date is still April 11.

I am not even half way to my goal. Please consider contributing. https://www.gofundme.com/thefightforthertk

An anonymous commenter once wrote:
"It is pathetic if citizens must get a lawyer and file legal suits to have our "public servants" comply with transparency laws. These politicians are not serving us. Instead they are protecting corruption and cronies. I agree that citizens and activists need to keep the heat on. There cannot be too much transparency when it deals with the actions of bureaucrats and politicians. "

Mt. Lebann continues with their SLAPP suit. More bullying. It's disgusting!

Humpf! I was charged $67.75 for those emails and now Mt. Lebanon has them all listed with the docket online.

They did come with a receipt. The small print says:

All sales are final. No exchanges. No returns.
Signed,
Susan Morgans.

They're doing this hoping you'll give up and not do this for the subsequent rounds of killing they'll continue to do to please the cold hearted, self centered, narcissists.

Of course they are. They also know that I am not getting the financial support I was hoping to get, so I will think twice before going through this again. The last time I went on vacation was in 2004. It would have been much more fun spending the money on a trip, rather than a day downtown in court.
I can see who is checking in on my website looking at the fund. I hate these people.

I was talking with an attorney yesterday who clarified something for me. The commissioners believe that this is covered under the contract with the law firm, so it isn't costing taxpayers any additional money, but that is incorrect. With additional legal expenses, the retainer fee increases in the following year.

So keep on thinking that litigation is free, commissioners, until you discover that it really isn't. Such a waste of money.

Thanks again to those who have helped me.

Elaine it makes sense, now that u mention it, that retainer fees go up year after year. It's the same in the medical profession: if u have legal issues your malpractice insurance, for example is going to go up. If u have car crashes, ... Your auto insurance yada, yada.

Btw, I once spoke to the commissioners and asked them to "widen the circle of compassion". I have no idea how that quote came to me at the time and I didn't realize it was from Einstein. Further, I'm bummed they didn't listen.
