Amazing! The risks of injuries, toxic in-fill, and unsafe surface temperatures have been well-publicized and well-argued, but it was as if there were no drawbacks whatsoever when the Commission was pushing-through the vote for this Must-Have item. And now, if you can believe this one, we're about to be told that Mt. Lebanon is in desperate need of more "green spaces" to accommodate storm water run-off and that, although this will be an expensive endeavor for our built-out community, it will be good for the ecology. So, the score for the Toxic Turf will forever remain a big ZERO, but we'll all feel better once we spend MORE MONEY to put in more real grass, SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE The Inmates HAVE taken over the asylum!
