Request for Proposals For a White-tailed Deer Management Program
Utilizing Sharpshooting within the Municipality of Mt. Lebanon
Responses from White Buffalo Inc.

Here it is in a nutshell:
Sharpshooting day or evening, from January 31, 2016 through March 31, 2016 or sooner if 150 deer are killed, mostly on PRIVATE PROPERTY. $1500 per day for temporary injunctions or animal rights protests. (page 28)

Are you still on the fence about sharpshooting? Or are you going to permit killing via guns in our densely populated community? Will you be charging the private property owners a portion of the cost to kill deer, like you do for every other service, or our tax dollars paying for the whole thing? You charged the sports groups for 25% of the artificial turf. You liened properties for sidewalks on N. Meadowcroft. Even the playground on Sunridge was built with private funds from the neighborhood. We ended up wasting $25,000 for the VA Manor folks, which you ultimately turned down. Private properties are not being donated. Those properties are the recipients, not the donors. Mt. Lebanon is paying for this. WE are the donors.

I thought I'd look into Mr. Steve Kremp. The first "trophy" hunt picture I found was predictable. But then I found pictures on a blog related to using dogs to track wounded deer. I am so horrified now that I want to warn people that this blog entry, especially as it applies to ongoing cull activities in Mt Lebanon, is upsetting and gruesome.
He describes losing track of wounded deer that he or a friend shot and then calling in his DACHSHUND to find the deer. He found 11 of 12. For one of the deer, he went back THE NEXT DAY to look for it. SO HUMANE.
I thought DACHSHUNDS were the ones being attacked in Mt Lebanon. I thought this guy was an EXPERT. Why does he need his DACHSHUND for help??

How much of the $245/hour/phase will the homeowner kick in?
Uh...zero.
Elaine
That proposal is disgusting.
The answer that Elaine gave at 8:09 is the same answer to the question: How much did the homeowners kick in when Jody Maddock personally visited with them for the archery hunt on "their" private property?
Which is the same answer to the question: How much did the homeowners in Virginia Manor kick in for their Local Historic District Designation plan that we threw away $25,000 on?
Nick M.
Steve Kremp also has a deer meat processing business.
Just to clarify... N Meadowcroft residents also paid a portion for the sidewalks and they had liens. They had to collect the money from each homeowner and present it in one check. Each homeowner also had to sign an intimidation contract.
And it costs $25 to have a block party! Why do the prokill people pay nothing for this service?
Elaine
So the 25 bucks for block party arguably pays for paperwork processing and public works drop-off and pick-up of the skimpy wooden barricades. Fine. They can get away with that. But the garden biddies pay nothing for private deer killers/Hosta guards who are hired pursuant to a municipal program. Even the CIA has to pay (a lot) when they hire private sniper ops to take out some dictator who US doesn't like.
Why are the garden biddies, who are a select few Mt. Lebanon residents, paying nothing for this deer killing operation?
